What to Expect:
Chronic high stress is one of the top causes of teacher burnout. Unmanaged stress over a period of time can also lead to numerous negative health outcomes. In this deep dive you will be learning healthy ways to relieve and manage stress in two parts:
Part 1: Recognize your triggers for stress during the school year and brainstorm ways you can limit exposure to them.
Part 2: Learn the healthy short-term and long-term strategies to cope with stress for the stressors you can’t avoid during the school year.

Start to recognize how stress manifests in your body so you can apply stress management strategies at your first warning signs of burnout.
Determine the main causes, or triggers, of your stress during the school year.
Brainstorm the boundaries you can set between yourself and these stressors for a more manageable school year.
